I pursued services from Macey, Aleman, and Searns for a cost of 1800 for seeking assistance with a loan modication with my current home.  Soon after paying off the the amount requested, I noticed the work for assisting me with my home modification declined.  Initially, there was no contact at all.  I had to call them several times to seek out assistance that I had paid for.  Not to mention--was they started the process of helping, I noticed there was nothing unusual they were doing to help us retain our property.  The mortgage company received everything from me just as fast as they received documents from them.  Then, after months of submitting everything via fax to attorney they did not try to mail documents to the mortgage company, but came up with an excuse of not being able to see documents.  They never once called me to tell me this, instead, I received a fax stating that: "Since I never heard from you regarding my last email informing you that Chase has closed your file due to lack of updated documents, I have no other choice other than to close your file out here too. Last I remember, you were sending me updated documents via USPS. We never received those documents and after making several attempts to inquire, we are put in the same position as Chase. I am closing your file out here today, and should you wish to re-engage, there will be a $500 a month fee until we finish working on your file."  How could anyone ask for anymore money when the initial service was not completed.  A TOTAL RIPOFF.   I can complete my own paperwork to the mortgage company.  I am asking to be compensated every penny that they stole from me.
