Manrique Custom Vision Total ripoff San Antonio Texas

 Was led to believe I was a candidate for Lasik after a free consultation from them. Procedure done in May 2015. Complaints at each follow up, nothing done, except I was advised to buy a pair of cheater glasses at my three month follow up. I wanted another opinion so I had my regular optometrist examine me, three weeks after I was told to buy a pair of cheaters. Several issues, first off the reason I went to Manrique was my reading vision had gotten a lot worse and wanted to see if lasik could help me. Was told that I would have 20/20 when they were done. Then, my regular optometrist stated that they did little to nothing to my eyes, my prescription was a little stronger that my last one which was less than a year ago. To top it off I have cataracts. I had contacted the credit card company and explained my situation. They investaged and I received a letter from my credit card company saying the issue was closed (I am liable for the full charges) along with a copy of the letter they received from Manrique stating that their procedure gave me 20/20 vision. I have another appointment with a lasik specialist on 22nd, referred to me by my optometrist. I don't like being lied to nor being taken advantage of, but it has happened. There has got to be something I can do. Manrique Custom Vision should not be able to do this to another person.
