Marc D. Wasserman/ AAA collection agency Trying to Collect a non existing debt for a car that was in tow yard Anaheim California

My car was tower by a towing company on December 2016 when i was away in a business trip.

I came back to find out they wanted 1200 to release it from their tow yard for being there a week.

Since i didnt have the money to pay for it, we agreed that i would sign the title over and give them an additional $250 and call it a day (car was worth less than $300, pretty bad shape).

In december 2017 i received a letter from a collection agency (AAA Credit service) about a $3600 debt to the towing company they were trying to collect, they stated i had to pay up within 30 days or they would sue me. I sent them a letter asking where this debt came from and asked them to validate that they had any right to collect any debt.

In January 2018, again i receive another letter but this time it's from Marc D. Wasserman, attorney representing AAA debt collection agency.

They state the same thing, i need to pay within 30 days or they will sue me. The letter says i just need to send the check to AAA collection agency or they will ruin my credit. I keep getting calls from them and they are very rude.
