On Friday Sep 3rd, 2010. I was directed from Auto Trader website to McGee's website on a search for a 2003 Ford Explorer. I saw one on their website that was listed for $2850 and immediately called the 1-888-625-0223 toll free number. A lady answered the phone and I told her I was inquiring about the said vehicle and she told me to hold on. She came back after about 3 minutes that all agents are busy that I should call back. I called back about half hour later and a sales agent name Jeff answered the phone. He told me the vehicle is available for the listed price. I told him I was interested and will like to wire some money to hold it and he said they do not take partial payment that I have to pay the full price. I asked him for the wire instruction and he said the office was closed and will remained closed until after the labor day holiday, that I should call on Tuesday morning to get the wire instructions. He promised me he will put SOLD on the vehicle until end of day on Tuesday.

I called the dealership on Monday Sept 6th, just to confirm that the SOLD sign was placed on the vehicle and the office was actually closed. A salesman answered and told me Jeff  was busy with another customer. I told the reason for my call, he then hanged up the phone on me. I called back and asked why he hanged up. He said he has other customers to attend to and I told him I was a customer too that desire to be attended to that all I need to know was if the office was open in order to get the wire transfer instructions. He then told me McGee don't do wire, check or credit card only cash. I told him I was coming from Virginia to pick up the vehicle on Tuesday and before I could finish my statement he hanged up on me again.

I then called a Nick S. that was listed on their website to find out why this salesman kept on hanging the phone on me and the status of the vehicle. He answered my call and said their was no way anybody could have spoken to me knowing I was coming from Virginia to buy the vehicle. That they do not sell vehicles to out of state customers. I then asked why they were advertisement on the Internet to the whole world if they are a local business, he then hanged up the phone on me. I later went to their website only to find out that the price on the vehicle has been changed from $2850 to $4870.

I called McGee Preowned Superstore 4 times and I was hanged up on 3 times. The whole world should know this dealership for what it is. Their advertisement and the actions are not the same. I was glad that I haven't wired any money to them, I am sure I would have had problem transacting any business with them.
