Medicredit TTTOGW01 ER Solutions Collecting Company Wixom Michigan

I recieved a letter that had "TTTOGW01 PO Box 1022 Wixom, MI 48393" as the return address but in the letter had Medicredit PO Box 1629 Maryland Heights, MO 63043 on the back of the letter.

A previous complaint cited the "PO Box 1022 Wixom, MI 48393" address for ER Solutions and consumeraffairs reports 70 complaints (as of this writing) on Medicredit many claiming money being sent but not creditied.

Looking around I found a topix forum on this with this statement:

"This means there are 2 addresses and this is in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Protection Act, a federal law that does not allow a 3rd party to be involved in the collection of a debt. Because the collection agency uses a Michigan return address, this implies a 3rd party. In the FDCPA this is a violation of section 807 (14). The "true name" has to be used. Obviously if a debt collection agency is using a return address in Michigan then that address is not the "true name" of the collector, and this is a violation that can be pointed out to the collector."

If correct then this company has potentual legal issues regarding debt collection.
