MEMBER'S EDGE VOICE Ripoff VOICE MAIL CRAMMING SCAM TEANECK New Jersey

Recieved my Qwest phone bill this month. Found a category called Enhanced Telecommunications Services and Products. "the following is billed on behalf of Member's Edge Voice" and contained two charges for 14.95 each.

I called qwest who was amazing and told me they are weighted down with these issues. He told me what is was and how they suckered us in. It was off of a survey someone had done. He noted that I was disputing these charges. and told me to call them and get a credit issued.

I attempted to call Member's Edge and first thing this morning and the woman on the phone said she would take care of the charges and then hung up on me. I called right back and spoke with a different woman this time. She informed me that is was a legitimate bill but what was scary was the info they possesed. They had our social security numbers and birth dates and lots of other knowldge off of a credit report. I know we had never done a survey and given private info. I asked her to fax me the proof that I had signed up for this and gave her my fax number.

I have not recieved the fax nor do I believe I will ever get one. I called the public utilities commision of Colorado and informed them of this scam. They were very helpful. I filed a complaint and then faxed them everything I had found about this company. Then they advised me to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commision. They infomed I shoud send a certified letter to the Company and call 1800-525-6285 (fraud credit alert) and file.

I am currently looking for class action lawsuits against this company and would gladly join.
