Memories On Media Lost precious unreplaceable videos, or sent videos to wrong people and will not rectify situation Winston-Salem North Carolina

I represent 17 customers of Memories on Media in events that have happened over a 3 year period. This company transfers old VHS tapes and film onto DVD and other media platforms. It is owned by Robert Beachley. It would take too long to list each individual situation, so we would like to list a short summary of things that have happened.

They promise a 6 week turnaround. This never happens. It is usually more like 12 weeks and some people have waited months.

There are numerous cases of tapes being sent to the wrong customers. Some of these incidents have been corrected, but many have not.

There are many cases of people sending in thier tapes and NEVER getting them back. So years of precious family memories are simply gone.

Trying to get Mr Beachley on the phone to discuss these matters is next to impossible. And if you do, it's just another excuse.

Having in depth conversations with each of the people involved in this complaint, there are numerous reports of good experiences with employees they could only indentify as Vickie and Jonathan. Both of which it appears were fired or just left the company.

To our knowledge, no customer who's videos have been lost have been offered any sort of refund.

We have chosen to file this report so that others will not lose their precious family memories to this company. I'm sure there are many other customers who have had similar experiences.

In short, PLEASE do not do business with Memories on Media. It is a horribly run company. There are many other video transfer services to choose from. We know of a great company called SouthTree that will not only do a great job in about two weeks, but they will match the Groupon price of Memories on Media if you call and ask.
