Letter sent to Attorneys General, Chambers of Commerce and Better Business Bureaus of Missouri and Florida:

Based on a 1/14/08 issued certificate we were booked on 7/16/08 for the Allegro Hotel in Puerta Vallarta 10/6-10/9/08 with Mexico Paradise Getaways (MPG). We complied with all requests for money and documentation in a timely fashion but it became obvious that there was problem when MPG sought to unilaterally switch the location to Cancun when:

MPG repeatedly claimed non-receipt of the documentation in spite of our hard copy confirmation to the contrary;

MPG principals Chuck Snow and Doug Becker failed to respond to our letters and phone calls or to investigate the matter and get back to us as promised;

MPG personnel flatly ignored our e-mails and faxes until it became obvious to them that this matter would not go away;

MPG unilaterally cancelled all arrangements on 9/30, only 6 days prior to our departure, and refunded the deposit claiming that we had cancelled (we did not cancel the Puerta Vallarta booking);

Finallly, for the first time on October 22, after three months of our trying to finalize the trip MPG claimed the above certificate contained a provision empowering them to switch the location. The certificate contains no such provision.

This matter could have been easily resolved had MPG complied with our agreement to send us to Puerta Vallarta and not pretend for three months that we had a booking at the Allegro Hotel in Puerta Vallarta for 10/6/-10/9 only to ignore us and abruptly cancel all arrangements. MPG's mode of operation is to request information in piecemeal fashion, ignore the customer's request for confirmation of their receipt and then to say that it was not received - in spite of fax confirmation of their receipt. The obvious intent is to get the customer discouraged from pursuing the matter.

We ask that you examine MPG's business practices as well as your own reords to see if MPG should be in business. We direct you to www.ripoffreport.com and www.tripadvisor.com to read about problems othe people have had with MPG.

We respectfully request an investigation and a notification of your findings. Should you need additional information, please let us know.
