The salesman came to my door in August 2013, offering an attactive pest control service and promised me that after 3 services the obligation for the contract will be over. He also promised that the service includes chemical treatment for termites.
After 3 services and many phone calls for repeat remediation services, I have a spider web, bugs and ants problem in the house. Their methods and service does not work. So I called to cancel the contract and want to go to another service. Moxie now wants to charge $150 for contract cancellation service as they say the fine print int he contract obligates me for 2 more services at $99/visit more.
Beware of the door to door high pressure salesman and do not believe what they say. They do not fulfill their part of the contract and perform the pest control promise, but essentially you are out of $500 whether you are satisfied or not. This company should be the king of Corporate Hall of Shame for ripping off its customers. I do not think they will survice for too long with such rude and deceptive business practices.

We certainly apologize for the frustration you experienced. Our one-year service agreements are comprised of an initial service followed by 4 quarterly services (one each season). In addition to documenting this in the service agreement, we explain this to our new customers during the technician's initial visit and on a special phone call welcoming new customers. The agreement can be canceled at any time, though if the customer receives a discount on the initial service, we do ask that that the discounted portion be repaid at the time of early cancellation. This too is documented and explained by the technician and on the phone call.
