I was checking out people of Walmart when this offer popped up, " Take this survey and you can have a watch or some beauty treatment for only $1 plus shipping."  So I did.

My bank account showed  debits of $1 and $4.99.  About a week later the watch comes in the mail in a bubble envelope with a box inside.  It's a fancy looking watch with a complicated display but no instructions.

Twelve days later there is a charge on my bank account for $88.99 that also triggered an insufficient funds charge from the bank.  When I called them on the phone I was told that they never offer "free" watches only "free trials". So how long are these free trials?   14 days he tells me.  It's only been 12 days.

I am directed to several web sites to persue a refund.  At the website I was confronted by a myriad of complicated and seeming impossible to meet criteria for obtaining a "full refund".

Now I'm stuck with a $96 watch that I didn't want, that I can't wear (the band is way too big) with no instructions.  The only good thing was that I was able to get the bank to reverse the nsf charge.
