I used Nextag to find the price for a Nikon D7000. I found this company and filed an order. After one day they gave me a long distance number to *confirm* the order. I called and somebody told me that I needed to buy a battery for the camera. In the ad, they said the camera came with battery. I said I didn't need, that I already had a battery, and the person said *it wouldn't fit.* I insisted that I just wanted to buy the camera. The person said it would be 1,100.00 for *insurance.* The website said the price was $999.00 with free delivery. I agreed with that, but then I was told I needed to buy *firmware* for $399.00. I said I wouldn't buy it and they hanged up on me. Later I received an email from them cancelling the order.
I know something about the camera, so I wasn't deceived, but I can imagine many people would. Also, they bold face lied about the price of the camera, the free delievery and the accessories that should come with it. They also lied about the battery and the fact that I'd have to buy firmware that can be downloaded for free on the internet. These people should be put out of business, and I am amazed that Nextag has them on its list. They're scam artists, blatantly ripping off people on the net, and nobody seems to care to put a stop on them.
