National Processing Division Tried to get me to pay back a Pay Day loan I never had!! Ithaca New York

I received a call at my office this moring informing me that I was being sued by Crown Pay Day Loans because I defaulted on paying back a payday loan that I had taken out in June of last year... I have taken out pay day loans before but this one didn't ring a bell. The representative on the phone said he was a senior investigator for a company named National Processing Division

the guy really scared me because he had all of this personal information of mine such as last 4 digits of my social, former bank account information and my address. In addition, he said I would have to pay thousands of dollars if the case went to court for fraud that I can even be prosecuted... but the call didn't make any sense... so the guy was trying to get me to pay $710.00 today so he said he was gonna fax a form to me and I was to fill out the information and send it back. I asked for his name, the guy has a thick Arabic accent and his name was Arnold Watson.. immediately, a red flag went up... Then I asked for his phone number and he gave me a 646 number but when I called the company back it was out of Ithaca, NY... another red flag... so I get the fax and it has no company letterhead and the stamp at the top of the fax said it was out of Mountain Time...

that is when I decided to do research online and came across this site. The guy said I have one hour to fax the form back or they are gonna file the papers with the court.... When he called back I told him that I contacted the NY Attorney General's Office. There was silence at the other end of the phone. All he said at the end of the call was that they would be filing papers with the court. I told him to go ahead and I would take my chances in court...
