I was hired through a Craigslist ad to perform a "tech refresh" for a client's laptop. They promised me $30 an hour. I checked in and out as required and sent them the timesheets they requested.
That was almost 2 months ago. The original paperwork stated payment would take 3 to 4 weeks to arrive. After that time I called and left a message (nobody EVER answers the phone) and had my call returned. The gentleman I spoke to told me that they had a payment pending for my name and promised me that he would put it through.
That was about 2 weeks ago and I still have yet to receive any payment. Also the emails and phone messages I have left have gone completely unanswered since the first one.
COMPLETE SCAM! Do not work for these guys.

Finally got Paid

The check for the money I was owed arrived today, 2 months to the day after I performed the work and a full 5 weeks after I was told to expect payment.
It may have taken forever but I was eventually paid in full. I'm not sure if I would have ever seen the money if I hadn't kept badgering them though.
