I was hired for a job on 5/19/11 in Woodland Hills CA, to swap out a hard drive on a POS. I was subcontracted out for the job for $50. When I arrived onsite I had to check in and there was nobody there to answer the phone, then left a message to log the onsite time, then called back at the end of the job and got someone but had to talk to like 3 different people because the first two were oblivious to the job#. After about 2 weeks I realized that I hadn't received a check from Nationwide so I called them. At first I wasn't told that there was a 30 day waiting period to get paid. So I waited 3 more weeks for a check before I even called back about the payment and still didn't receive a call back from anyone after leaving messages, so I called the tech line and sounded like I was on the job  and gave them the order # to get someone with a pulse to get to the bottom of this, then they told me that they don't pay for 30 days after the completion of the job. So I told them it's been longer then the 30 days so they said they would check and that I should check with accounting and talk to them but of course nobody answered in accounting so I left a message and no one called back again, again. So then when I called back they said I would have to contact accounting again and see what the holdup was, I told them that I already did that and there's no answer there when I call and I never here back from anybody when I leave messages, so then they said they would call me back after a 11:00 meeting one day and they never did so I again called and told them the whole story over again and he was supposed to get back to me, but he didn't, So I called back again and after I finally got a hold of someone I was told that the check was mailed on the 3rd and here it was the 9th and it still wasn't here so again called and talked to some guy Derrick who said that there mail policies are to wait 7 to 10 business days for the check and that he was going to find out who dropped the ball. Today is the 10th of June I'll keep you updated! When and if I ever get paid!!!
