My son and daughter were entered in the 2007 New Star Discovery IA/NE state pageant. My daughter won the overall high point competition and was to receive a $5,000 savings bond. She also won a $250 bond and my son won a $250 bond.
We still have not received these bonds. $5,500 promised to us by New Star Discovery, not received. We have made repeated phone calls and emails. We either get voice mail or no response from emails, after Rowdy Adams, owner, made promises he would make everything right for the families that have been ripped-off.
To top it off, New Star Discovery has been taken over by someone else. I encourage all other parents that are owed money to take action. This company took all our money for entry fees, etc.
