I responded to a FREE SHIPPING on first order lure that lead me to Nomorerack.
I ordered an MP4 player, which I have not received yet. NMR neglected to send me confirmation of my purchase or a tracking number.
I was charged the $2.00 shipping.
I alerted customer service and received this reply:
"Regarding the free shipping offer, please be informed that we offer a flat rate of $2 shipping per item (not per order) - and in this case this may have not been applied due to a system glitch. I have gone ahead and issued you a $2 credit to compensate for the missed offer as we are unable to apply any credits to an existing order."
I tried to apply this $2.00 credit and was informed that I must spend $30.00 to use my $2.00 credit. What a "FREE SHIPPING" scam! I do not want to order from this disgusting company. I wish that I had never heard of them.
Next, I referred a friend to the site, as he saw some flip-flops that he wanted to buy.
We are not family, nor do we live at the same address, which is clear by our shipping addresses and names being different.
He went ahead and ordered the flip flops, and I did not receive my $10.00 referral award.
At that time of referral, I was visiting his home- I was using an Asus tablet and he was using a MacBook Pro. We were at his home using his wireless internet connection.
I was planning to use the $10.00 referral award to buy myself the flip-flops. When I proceeded to buy them, there was no $10. in my acct.
I wrote to ask and was told, by *Micki, customer service:
" I have checked both accounts and it appears that the email address of your referral is listing the same IP addres as yours. As part of our system's verification process, credits are automatically not issued once it detects the similar IP address..."
My reply:
Kevin S***** is my friend. We are not related.
I was at his house and introduced him to Nomorerack. He was interested in two pair of Dawgs shoes.
I told him about the referral and he joined through my referral.
I was on my Asus tablet (wireless connection) and he was on his MacBook pro (wireless connection).
I was visiting his home, but we do not live together.
I am now at my house and the IP address on from this letter is mine.
When I joined Nomorerack, it was from my house.
I also ordered the MP4 player from my house, so that IP address will match this one from which I am sending now.
I did refer Kevin S***** from the same home, on a tablet that picked up his IP; we do NOT live at the same address.
You can check public records and verify that I, DBH, reside and own a home at 20 U**** Street, Wallingford, CT. My phone is 203-xxx-xxxx
Mr S***** resides and owns a home at 85 J*** Road, Wallingford, CT. His phone is 203-xxx-xxxx.
Further, if you check both my and his merchandise orders, you shall see that they are shipped to different addresses, which correspond with the addresses I listed above.
There is no item on Nomorerack indicating that two members cannot use wireless devices from the same physical place.
If this were the case, I would have invited him from my home while he joined from his home.
Soon as I receive my referral award, I shall order the additional items.
FYI, my initial purchase was for one (1) item, the MP4 player. I clicked to Nomorerack through a link that offered FREE SHIPPING.
*Micki (Nomore rack) replies as follows:
"Hello Bethhuntington,
Thank you for writing in.
Always here to help.
Unfortunately as what has been stated previously - we are unable to override the system and manually issue referral credits as this kicks in through the referral process.
Please bear in mind the rules and regulations on how the give & get promo works.
Again I would like to apologize and hoping for your understanding in this matter.
If there is anything further I can do to assist you please let me know. At Nomorerack, customer satisfaction is our main goal!!!

What a crock of crap company!
The most-disgusting part is stupid *Micki claiming that, " At Nomorerack, customer satisfaction is our main goal!!
So, I paid for a $24.00 MP4 player, received NO verification of the purchase, no tracking number, and have NOT received the player yet (I doubt that I will ever receive it).
I should have received FREE SHIPPING, but they ripped me off for that, then issued me a worthless"credit" for which I must spend $30.00 to use.
I referred a friend, which should have given me a $10. credit, and *Micki, the rude and ignorant customer service rep, tells me that I cannot have this referral award because I have broken a rule.
when I explained that I did NOT violate their rules, she tells me that she cannot "override the system and manually issue referral credits".
So, Customer Service cannot offer credits?
Do yourself a favour- run clear from Nomorerack!

Notice, as of this date, there are over-600 complaints about this company!
I will follow up if I received the MP4 player. From other entries on this site, I'm guessing that I either will not receive it, or it will arrive to me either used, broken, or BOTH.

Through my struggle with Nomorerack and its infamous 'customer care'
(which in my opinion is the 2nd stage of the overall scam) I have
learned a couple of things that I think might help you all understand
how the Nomorerack scam machine works.
Nomorerack.com is nothing but a front man for Chinese (and a few other 3rd world
factories) C-grade products that need an outlet to the Western market.
Those of you who have seen sites like DhGate, Chinavasion, Alibaba etc,
will know that there are thousands of Chinese factories producing
'stuff' ordered by Western customers.
Typically, the consumer orders on
line through the on-line gateway and then the specific merchant selling
the goods sends the product to the customer. Buyers are also encouraged
to become agents and re-sell their products on portals like eBay.
When one becomes an 'agent', you simply advertise the item(s), set your
prices, take orders and send the orders and payment for the ordered
items, and in turn, the original merchant 'drop-ships' the goods to the
waiting customer.
Everything is fine until something goes wrong: the
original merchant runs out of stock or drop-ships the wrong item.
The front man seller can't resolve the problem directly- the best he can do
is stall the process and hope that the original merchant can resolve the
problem promptly.
Delays in shipping are completely out of the hands of
Nomorerack. If its taking 3+ weeks for you to get your tablet computer,
well it means that Tung Wang Dung Factory # 13 is out of some parts or
have filled an extraordinary order, including your specific tablet to a
preferred middle seller in Los Angeles or Rome.
Nomorerack has
simply managed to take the concept of re-seller or 'front marketer' to a
massive level. Nomorerack doesn't produce anything on their own. They
merely serve as the middleman between Chinese producers and merchants
and your money. They take all of these shady products and shape the
'packaging' on their on-line 'store', designing their pages in a way
that inspires a feel of a legitimate and trustworthy business to their
unwitting North American and European consumers.
Look at how
the products on offer are presented on nomorerack.com: Many of the goods
The descriptions and photographs are of the real item and sometimes feature celebrities'
images (but it should make you wonder why Jennifer Lopez would allow a
scam business like Nomorerack to model a pair of fake ear-rings!) but
what you often get is a facsimile or copy of the real thing.
Anyone who has been to China knows that 'everything' can be
and is often faked. My goodness, local business people have even opened
whole Apple stores duping Chinese consumers (and the employees!) into
thinking they were buying/selling real Mac products.
Whether its a fake designer watch, watered down perfumes impeccably packaged and sealed in
fake boxes, designer clothes (want to buy 'real' Aussie Uggs anyone, for
a fraction of the price?) or electronics, its all out there and the
consumer has to beware.
Front loaders like nomorerack aren't up-front about their middle-man function and so when things go awry in the product being defective, they can do very little except... refer you
on the 'Customercare@nomorerack.com, whose hollow fraud of a motto is
'complete satisfaction', 'Always here to help!' LOL. To add insult to
injury, the most that they will offer you is a "in-store credit"! - so
that you can purchase more fake stuff and re-live your ordeal!
In order to stop the hemorrhaging of burned customers, Nomorerack has
committed substantial resources to an army of customer care personnel
who follow a cheat sheet of phrases that they cut & paste from onto
their responses to you.
This doesn't need any more explanation-
especially if you have found yourself here on this helpful site.
Their sole purpose is to spin customer's negative experiences and complaints
into a fake image that they are doing what is necessary and more to make
things right.
When you find yourself locked in a circular conversation
with the same cut & paste statements being sent to you, you know
that you're locked in an un-win-able situation.
Most customers cut their
losses, thinking that it isn't worth the effort and negative feelings.
The good news is that you can win against these crooks! and you can help others from falling into this mess.
File a complaint on-line with BBB (don't waste your time with customer
care at nomorerack!) and on this Ripoff site.
File a complaint with FTC. That
is something that nomorerack dreads the most.

This is exactly the same response that every single person with a complaint gets.
Another lie is that NMR really cares and that my experience will be great.
My experience with NMR has already been a nightmare.
No, I will NOT email you with details. I have emailed at-least five times with the information and my email.
PLEASE~ anyone reading this:
Stay away from Nomorerack!
Go to Amazon.com. They have the real stuff that NMR advertises, for similar price.
NMR posts falsely-inflated retail. Their crap items are really not worth anywhere near what they say.

Also, the product that you see pictured on NMR's page, is NOT the product that you'll receive.
