OAN Services AKA ACI Billing Surprise billing on phone bill Internet

Opened my phone bill and found charges for two directory assist charges (made a week apart) to what looked like a Las Vegas directory assistance phone number, billed for TELESEVEN LLC by OAN.

So I immediately asked all three members of the house if they had called directory assistance in Las Vegas. Of course everyone said no, because we dont know anyone in that area. But upon calling the number on the bill for OAN the representative said it was possibly a bill for an 800 number that was "disconnected" and it gets routed to the number (the one i said looked like a directory assistance number) and Teleseven LLC handled the call. When I asked to know what actual number was called and why in the world would someone make a call twice to a disconnected number a week apart, the rep stated he had no idea and couldnt tell me the actual number called but would be happy to reimburse me the billing.

Of course its going to take two billing cycles for that! Funny thing about this is that the billing looks like someone made a directory assist call which is not abnormal and I would have paid it normally without question, but thing is we dont know anyone in that area. So thats why I was suspicious. So be forewarned and investigate suspicious charges, when you see them on your bill. It all adds up!!!
