Avoid this company like the plague. I had an ad running in the RV Trader to sell my RV. I had 2 different telemarketers call my house in one day from this company. Being the open-minded person that I am I let one of them give me their 5 minute long pitch. Here is the deal. They charge you $448 dollars for an advertisement on their website. Mind you my trader ad was 49 and it runs til sold. Anyway sounded like a good pitch until I did further research and thanks to past reports from ripoffreport.com. They put your car/truck/RV on Yahoo auction and it is supposed to get like 20 million visitors or something like that each day. sounds good right? Now they claim to put all the 400 some dollars into the advertising. They claim to make their money on the back end with the financing. Those yahoo auctions must be expensive right? With further research I found that the cost for placing an rv,car, bike etc. on YAHOO's auction costs a total of $0.00. umm... yep FREE. But what about the custom website they build? Dont get too excited. You take the pictures. You write the description. Your fancy dancy customized website is just a page on their site, not its own registered domain or anything like that. They claim to get top dollar for your vehicle. Ask yourself why anyone buys on auctions without even seeing the item first. BECAUSE they are getting a hell of a deal. Go to Yahoo or Ebay auctions and see what the sold cars, trucks, etc. sell for compared to Blue Book. Anyway this woman was telemarketer was not your run of the mill "Can I save You money on Long Distance" Telemarketers, she was good and seemed like she believed in what she was offering. Please do the research. Of yeah and be careful doing business with any company doing business over the phone with a Vegas address. I will save my other story about that for another company. Be careful and Stay far away from Onestopmotors.com. If you want to pay that kind of money to get it sold have a dealer sell it on consignment or put the darn thing on Yahoo auction for free.

#1 UPDATE Employee
OSM provides everything they say they will
AUTHOR: Tim - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Friday, April 21, 2006
OSM would like to take this opportunity to respond to the comments made by Carl from Atlanta, GA.
Carl warns people to avoid this company like the plague while from his letter is appears that he isn't even a client. Not having experienced the success of our advertising, financing, shipping, and extended warranty that the MAJORITY of our clients have, it seems that he may not be in the best position to give others advice about our company.
He goes on to state that we only have one package (which we do not) at one price (again incorrect). He makes the inference that while his little ad with the trader runs until sold, that our advertising does not. Nothing could be further from the truth. All of our clients receive advertising in the OSM network until their vehicle is sold. This includes several things that a trader type ad does not. A full time customer service team answers inquiries on behalf of our clients five days a week. That same team works with potential buyers to secure financing to buy our client's vehicles even if the potential buyer's credit is less than perfect. They even facilitate nationwide shipping on behalf of any of our customers that may need it and arrange for extended warranties for potential buyers if they so desire. These are services that no trader advertisement even has access to; much less the personal interaction to make sure the sale is handled from beginning to end.
Carl is right about one thing however, for an individual, placing a yahoo auction is free. It's the follow-up and weeding out of the tire-kickers and looky-loos, not to mention the fraudulent offers, which make our service worth what we charge.
Carl then goes on to say that the website we build is just a page on their site. It's a custom page specifically designed for each clients' vehicle that is linked through keyword optimization to the major search engines out there so people that are just randomly searching for our client's types of vehicles will see our clients' vehicles on the first page of their search results. On the trader type site no one can find ANY vehicle without knowing the zip code of the owner of that vehicle. It won't even let you search without a zip code.
OSM is often able to get top dollar for our client's vehicles for the very same reason that most used car dealers do, FINANCING! Cash used to mean something at a dealership, but now it doesn't, the real way to make the most on a vehicle sale is by offering that benefit. Most people with less than perfect credit are more concerned with how much they would have to put down and the amount of their monthly payment, then with the total purchase price. That's why all the dealers out there do a majority of their advertising stating what the payment will be rather than the total price of the vehicle. You can drive a xyzcar for only $299.00 a month!
I am going to thank Carl for the one compliment he does pay to OSM's sales associates. Anyway this woman was telemarketer was not your run of the mill Can I save You money on Long Distance Telemarketers, she was good and seemed like she believed in what she was offering. Well Carl that's because she does believe in what we do for our clients and that we have a customer service team that backs it up. We all work very hard for our clients.
Carl seems to have a problem with any business that uses the phone and has a Las Vegas address. I wonder why, he says he's saving that for another company. He advises everyone that if they want to pay that kind of money to get it sold that they should give it to a consignment dealer or list it on a Yahoo auction themselves. First of all a consignment dealer charges a percentage of approximately 8 to 12 percent. That is much higher than the one-time flat fee that OSM charges. If you have a car that sells for $10,000.00 and your consignment dealer charges only eight percent you net $9,200.00 on your sale. If you purchase OSM's Platinum Package ($399.00) you would net another $400.00! If you want to list your vehicle on its own Yahoo auction then you are free to do so, but be prepared for the Nigerian Scams and attempts to contact you at all hours from people that only have questions and haven't even bid on your vehicle. That, again, is part of the service the OSM provides. Handling the questions and weeding out fraudulent offers that could end up costing you a lot of money.
I invite you, Carl, to avail yourself of OSM's services and see if it doesn't make the selling of your next vehicle a much more pleasant experience. I also invite anyone who is even considering advertising a vehicle for sale to call me personally and I would be happy to answer any questions that you may have.
