Paltalk Software - Paltalk.com This company caused my computer to malfuntion through the advertisements they have in the chatrooms. New York New York

Paltalk is a world wide Internet Chat program.  Allowing people to communicate via webcam, text and microphone.

Paltalk also has advertisements. The thing about Paltalk is that in order for you to not get the advertisements in the banners of the chatrooms, you must PAY THEM for a colored nickname.

This is number 1 ripoff. Having to PAY SOMEONE just to not be able to see ads? Also paltalk CLAIMS that when you purchase a colored nickname for the program, the video and voice quality will be better. IT HAS BEEN PROVEN THAT THE QUALITY DOES NOT CHANGE. They LIE AND STEAL.

I was using the program Paltalk on I believe August 24th of 2009.

I had a black nickname, Black nick names are the ones that give you advertisements because they are free.  Well I was using the program and all of a sudden a program installed itself on my computer.

The program was called Windows Antivirus Pro 2007.  Funny I thought we were in the year 2009?? Anyways. It was one of paltalks Ads that allowed this program to install itself on my computer.

REMEMBER I DID NOT AUTHORISE THIS. After several minutes the program closed paltalk on me, and gave me false notifications such as "Warning! Closing infected program: Paltalk.exe"

Obviously paltalk.exe is not an infected file, where as I had just done a format on my computer and the only website I had gone to that day before this happened was msn.com and paltalk.com.

I then continued to get frustrated about all the false notifications, couldnt open anything on my computer without the program telling me it was infected with a virus.  I even tried going to "Add/Remove Programs" and well apparently that was infected too?  This makes me laugh on the outside but makes my heart want to explode in rage on the inside.

So I finally find a way to close the program long enough to get paltalk to open, and I go to the paltalk help rooms to discuss this with the Paltalk Admins.  They told me that they could not help me with Third Party Programs.

I did not know that a program that was put on my computer through paltalk was a third party program?! I explained this to the computer illiterate person in baby words so he/she could understand better.

Then they reffered me to the "Tech Lobby" Well apparently the Tech lobby is only open 1 hour of the day. And usually im in work at that time, or just busy doing other things in my life.

So basically Paltalk did not help me solve the problem that THEY had created, and forced me to format my computer for the second time.  Way to go paltalk. They will be hearing from many Attorneys.

Also I know it told me not to leave a signature, I'm sorry but I just dont care if they see my name. My name on paltalk is Seclusion Real name is Josh. I hope the paltalk Co-Admins read this so they know they cant ban me from the program for filing this report.
