My wife and I moved into an apartment in May of 2014. After losing my job, we couldn't afford the rent so we had to move. The apartment complex charged us for the remainder of our lease which was understandable. However, I was in college at the time and couldn't afford to pay two separate rental fees, the apartment complex apparently sold my debt to this collection agency in which I've never heard of, nor made any agreements with, put over double the amount owed on my credit report. I am contesting the frivolous charges with all of the credit reporting​ agencies but they are not doing anything.
