Pipeline Data, Inc. Merchant Account Services Rip Off Quincy Maryland

I signed up with Pipeline Data in July 2007. My company did not begin operations until October and despite informing them that I am not ready to start operations yet but only wanted to establish merchant accounts to get my business ready, they started to access fees from my account. I asked them to cancel and they told me about $300 cancellation fee.

Another representative called me to negotiate and said he would reverse the charges and apply them when I start to operate, the charges kept on. I asked them to cancel my accounts in September and after so many "he saids" I received confirmation that it was cancelled; this was in November, 2007.

I thought I was finally through with this fraudulent company only to find out that they were still accessing my account and they had charged me $198 in annual fees for 2008!

I am working with my bank to stop this company's access to my account and I have asked their representative to stop these charges and return the money stolen from me.

I wish I had known about Ripoff Report before I signed up with them, I would have saved myself some pain and suffering.

I implore anyone reading this to really beware of this company. They jerk you around and their representatives can sometimes develop amnesia. If you want to deal with them, please do everything in writing so you have documentation.
