Aaron Greenspan doing business under the domain Plainsite.org pretends to make legal information available to anyone as a public service. While his mission initially sounds noble, he is nothing other than an internet scam artist. The Plainsite.org site selectively publishes legal proceedings of high profile individuals and then tries to charge the individuals a subscription fee to remove the postings. These are all published "under the punlic interest" of readers. Many of the items published are very old, incorrect, or intended to harm the named party. I have contacted Aaron Greenspan on behalf of a client, and was told that the incorrect and undesired information could be removed for a fee of $4500 USD. This fraud and blackmail should be shut down.

The above post is simply false.
We do not, and never have, asked for or accepted payment to remove a court record or post of any kind on PlainSite.
We do charge $39.99 specifically to law firms and corporations who want to use their PlainSite profiles for advertising purposes, which in some cases may involve cleaning up conflicting public records and consolidating them into one record. That is entirely separate from suppressing or removing court records, however.
We certainly have never charged the alleged amount of $4,500 for anything. The original poster is either lying or confusing us with another company.
