I went to this company (Prestitge Gold buyers) thru a company i have dealing with for over five years. I requested a gold pack from them on May 8th 2011, i received it a few days later and mailed them back a cocktail ring and a 10k earring, after not hearing back from them for two weeks i called at first with no answer, the next day i phoned again and talked to a male who told me that there was no need to worry they were just backed up due to so many orders. well another week went by no check , so i emailed customer service with no respone the first time , so i emaied again, this time i get a response that said the same thing , no need to worry you should receive it soon, and explained that they were a legitimate company (yeah right), well a few more weeks go by no check no jewelry so i'm starting to get ticked off. i emailed them the entire month of june and july , now i'm getting an appology from customer service asking for my paypal address (which i sent), they said they were going to send $125 via paypal within 24 hrs, well that was three week ago , no money , no jewelry back. At this point i just want my jewelry back , so i filed a complaint with the BBB of Florida and they did not respond at first , then about a week later someone named Danielle who claims to be ind/accountant for Prestige Gold said she personally sent me a check , which is a lie i never received one, so i responded back that she send BBB the cancelled check which never happened because she never sent one. She goes on to say that if i sent her an updated address she would send another check certified mail, never got it . when i called the number that she gave them it turns out not to be a number for Danielle, but someone else's personal cell #. I may not ever get my money or my jewelry back but i'm gonna make it my duty to turn them in to anyone that will listen. Prestige Gold Buyers is just a gold buying website that just Scams you for your gold with No intention of Ever paying you.

After going back and forth with prestige through emails promising To send my payment via PayPal and Them telling BBB They had sent it by mail (lies ). Once again on September 8th BBB sent me another email from Prestige saying they Were closing the business and that they were assigning Representatives to send out payments to complaintants via PayPal within 48 hrs. And I was to email them with bbb complaint # ,well another week has gone by with No payment. They had no intention of ever paying. They will more than likely close This business and open under a different name. By the way There was never an accountant named Danielle, when I called the number they gave me it was someone else's cell. #.
