Prevention Magazine ,North Shore Agency Inc. Prevention magazine attempt to collect a debt that did not exist. Melville New York

I received a collection letter from North Shore Agency in regards to a magazine subscription to Prevention Magazine. I never ordered a subscription to this magazine and when I got a bill from Prevention Magazine, i sent the bill back to them stating that I never ordered their magazine.

Two months later I received this letter from the collection agency stating that I owed them $14.97. I tried to call North shore agency to explain the situation however No customer service rep could be contacted. I then called Prevention magazine and spoke with one of their customer service representatives and she said everything was cancelled back in July. So if that is the case why then am I receiving a collection notice to pay a bill that was never there.

If this is not fraud I don't know what is!!!!
