Going thru the Mortgage applications and having companies pull hard records hurts your credit for future applications for your loan applications. Quicken Loans is in a practice of trying to loan application on a one stop process. If a call is made into any of the teammmates who are calling you at all times of the day to forward you to a banker.

1. Tried rocket mortgage gave all the permission to pull records only for it to bounce it back stating I needed to call their 800 number to finish off the application. Called in and they pulled the credit report
2. 2 months later --when they could have just used the old report to give a quote the person again runs the reports again and dings my credit report. The script is worded to where there is NO MENTION OF HARD CREDIT PULL AND HOW IT AFFECTS YOUR CREDIT REPORT. These agaencies have to disclose this from the get go and not during the closing script.

My credit report has gone down 30 points since then only because of the hard pulls they have had with then.

I will contact the Attorney general in my state as well as the FTC and see if there is any recourse from this company.
