We applied for a loan with Quicken after seeing all the TV ads, and being promised it was an "easy" process.  This company should be avoided and be careful. We have outstanding credit, plenty of equity and  solid incomes. We were given a loan with another reputable company in  5 weeks, after MONTHS of dealing with Quicken and giving them money.  after rating change they told because your property tax has raised and you told us less we can't refinance your load , totally lie , The problem with Quicken is the staff does not know what they are doing, they hire inexperienced loan brokers on the phone  and you do not see anything .  We had the most basic of questions and their answers were always wrong.  We are highly educated and do very well.  This company is a joke.  My advice is to engage a broker that is in your own backyard and that you can build a relationship with.

****   be careful as with the paper you will sign at the first time you will authorize them to charge you for anything ,at least for the credit report ,appraisal and......   after you get deny ,they made some money ,they do not lose anything.
