Do NOT use Reliable credit unless you are willing to be harassed, abused, lied to, ripped off, yelled at, and lied to some more. I financed my car with Reliable credit 3 years ago. First they tried to add a $3500 fee because they thought my car insurance lapsed. Recently my payments for past 6 months were a little late. They held my last 2 payments, and put me in repo status. They took my car, and auctioned it off. Now they are trying to get me to pay an amount that they say I owe for the the final year.
When I tried to find out why they held 2 payments, they wanted 3 payments up front plus a $700 finder fee before they would stop the repo process. they changed the amount 3 times within 24 hours when they heard I was getting the first qoute together for them. They are always rude on the phone and verbally abusive. they knew this was my only car, and it didn't matter to them.

Where Do You People Learn This?

YOU admitted YOU were late on the payments YOU promissed to pay on time. YOUR actions turned on the collections efforts. YOU did it...they just didn't pick on you! YOU signed a contract to make all the payments. Since YOU defaulted this doesn't make the balance magically go away. They are going to sue YOU because in the final analysis, YOU didn't live up to YOUR end of the contract. If you didn't want to deal with calls and a repo then YOU should have made those payments on time...the payments YOU promissed to make.
