This company is horrible! I was going to be 2 weeks late on my payment, this company recently took over my loan from a crappy buy here pay here place in AZ. I called them an let them know i was going to be late, and scheduled for the late payment as well as my upcoming payment.
The total was 720$, when i spoke with the rep named Sarah she asked me how am I going to pay 720$ and she said isnt that going to put me behind on other bills? I ignored her odd unprofessional statement and said just set the payment up.
When the time for the payment came i noticed an insufficient funds on my bank account, but the money was in there. So I replaced the 35 dollar fee and added another 50$ to my account just in case. I checked my account a little over week later and it hadn't been taken out yet, however there was another insufficant fee??!! I called to ask them Ehat was going on with my payment and why did i get an insufficient funds fee, since the money was in there. Sarah then said dont you remember our conversation on the 23rd? I said no, we did not speak on the 23rd.
I am a very calm, un confrontational person, the only people who get yelled at from me are my kids occasionally, however Sarah said she called me on the 23rd and I yelled at her and said why would i make my payments and why is making payments so important, oh and i also said to just take my van, I dont want to pay it anymore. I asked her to let me hear this conversation i supposably had with her and she told me i would need to contact a lawyer to hear it. I said so your not going to let me make a payment, and she told me they do not want to deal with people like me and they are taking my van. I once again said I did not speak with you and you know that, and i want to hear our conversation right now, she then again said contact a lawyer and the call was dropped.
I have never been so upset in my life, and I am still flabbergasted at how someone can flat out lie to my face and say I had a conversation with them.. it blows my mind. I would like to contact a lawyer but do not have the time, resources or money for that.. and Im sure she knew that when she refused to let me listen to this conversation. I cant imagine how someone could be so cold hearted, this company is not reliable, they are flat out con artists!

What Kind of Scam?
AUTHOR: Jim - (U.S.A.)

In general, this report is so convoluted and disjointed its almost impossible to make sense of it. But if I can decode this, it looks like you were overdrawn on your bank account. Apparently you don't know what your bank account status is...how close you are to being overdrawn with your statement..."I added another $50 to my account just in case". Just in case? DON'T YOU KNOW FOR SURE?
Then you say you voluntarily gave up the van...what was this supposed to prove? You just gave yourself a repo!
And if you had the money in your account, why would you give it up anyway?
So now, tell us.....where is the scam?
