I found Richard Rogers through a Craigslist post.  I needed help installing a new printer in my office.  He came to my office on Thursday, September 15, 2016.  When he arrived, he looked very legitimate (wore business attire, looked clean-shaven, and spoke in a professional manner).  He is a VERY GOOD ACTOR!  I am pretty sure he a great computer tech, and knows what he's doing.  Except he is a CONSUMATE CON ARTIST as well!

After looking at my printer, he recommended that I get a different printer, and said that he could order it for me.  He said that he worked directly with some vendors, and could get me the printer at a really good price.  He then emailed me an invoice for his office visit that day ($85), and the cost of the printer ($273 plus tax, which totalled $390.22).  The invoice looked legitimate and very professional.  I wrote him a check for that amount, and he said he expected the printer to arrive the following Tuesday, and that he would bring it by and install it for me.

Well, Tuesday came, and I still had not heard anything from him.  I called and texted him, and he texted back that day saying that he would check on it, and get back to me soon.  I contacted several times in the next few days, and got very little response.  Finally, on Thursday, September 22, I called, texted, and emailed him several messages saying that I really needed to know what was going on, and for him to contact me.  No response from him.  By Friday morning, I had to accept the fact that I had been scammed, and that is when I decided to post a warning on Craigslist with his name, phone number, website, etc. to warn others about him.  And that is where we are today.
