My 16 year old daughter wanted to purchase her dream puppy, an English Bulldog for her very own. She got a cashier job at the supermarket to pay for him.
The problems started when we contacted and purchased a puppy from Robin Schulder of Bulldogs r Us On 11/15/07. Six days after we brought him home. Ozzie the bulldog fell ill from neurological disorder, blindness, parvovirus and a host of other problems.
I contacted Robin Schulder to let her know that I have 3 Unfit for Sale Notices. I wanted a refund. She never returned any calls.
After 7 months of heartache I had to euthanize Ozzie on May 12, 2008 because he was having vicious seizures.
Finally I took her to Bronx County small claims court asking for $5,000.00 in medical and price of Ozzie I won my judgement for $2,095.00.(price of the puppy only) Robin has not paid on this judgement due 5/24/05.
Robin under Oath told the Arbritraor that she sells 200 dogs a year. Thats a pretty great income, puppies ranging from $1,000.00 to $3,500.00.
The courts do not enforce this judgement, I can't get the money through the banks because they are joint accounts I need the other peoples permission.
The department of Motor Vehicle won't suspend her drivers license and the Department of Agriculture won't suspend her business license as stated on the judgement. I have sent the proper forms to these agencys with a copy of the judgement.
How can I collect this judgement for my daughter, She paid $2,000.00 for him and she don't even have him anymore. She is heartbroken like the rest of us, How can Robin get away with this, my daughter deserves her mony back, she worked hard for him.
There is no way I know her social security number, her mortgage company or if she makes a car payment.
I contacted the NY Daily News, They published my story on Sunday June 29, 2008.

The next step

I don't know the exact steps, but there is a process to enforce a small claims court judgment in TX. If you win and the person doesn't pay you the judgment, you can go back to the court and get an order to enforce. Then you pay a constable to go with you to that person's place of business. You get to take almost anything that has the same monetary value as the judgment awarded to you. You then sell whatever you took and give the difference back to the loser. It's a tedious process and you are out some more money for the court and the constable, but you might be able to get that amount added to the original judgment.
It's worth the effort just to see the look on the loser's face when you walk in with the cops and take whatever you want. Be sure to take someone big to carry heavy stuff. Be sure to take a vehicle big enough to carry whatever you decide to take (could be a big screen television). Be sure to only take something that you know you can sell. The dogs might be off-limits, but you don't want to take them because they are probably sick and you have to take care of them until you can sell them. Why do her any favors by unloading her dogs for her? If you can, aim for something that is irreplaceable and has sentimental value or something that will cause a disruption to her life or business. In addition to getting your money, you want to be as big a pain as you can be so this person gets a small taste of the problems he or she has caused you.
Remember, used stuff isn't worth as much as new stuff, so you have to aim high.
