SBG Digital - Barry Garnes Sherry Garnes Non Paying Company - Don't go to work for SBG Digital Internet

 I dont work for this company but another that sherry and berry own and their sin helps with blake, well been there almost a year and only missed one half of a day and my oregant girlfriend is having issues beyond our controll we go on the 19th she has surgrey and we are loosing our kids almost lost her due to issues and i rent from them and asked to be held til thus coming friday when i aint due til saturday was making both payments been renting for over a year and her meds before surgrey out of pocket was 133.47 cents we have w other children and was told oh well no u pay or we pick up when they let customers run 28 pas due and are so in violation of laws and they told me yesterday to pay it or go home i was like what my girlfriend was so upset then blake called me said pay 25 and it will be fine today as my day iff me and my grilfriend was then told it was to be 28 so we borrowed it and then they treated me and here which account is in both of our names if i didnt put on auto debit or allow them to take outta my check i had no job i called a lawyer have them and employees on my phone saying this so they fired me over this! And changing rules everyday i never seen a handbook nor signed one paper there but a w2 and my banking info at start for my check my lawyer said they cant make u do amy of the above and right to hire or fire state myabe true but what they did was against my rights and the states right to work and i want everyone to know that know they done this 7 days before my girlfriend gives birth and our babies our took because they cant make it this is a family business and and they pledge this well as u can tell life and death means nothing to them to treat employees and their family this way over 5 days

 I'm sorry to say but your whole little article you wrote sounds like it was wrote by the owner of the company or the owner was telling you to write it and possibly paying you to write good things about him/her. It just doesn't feel right.  I believe Micah just may be pretty accurate on his statements. Any company that would their employees get on here and bash another company that's not even in the conversation. ...."up dish comm". Heck they aren't the topic, sbg is. Up dish could by all rights and legally and should sue sbg for libel and slander. any companies that would hire people who are going to get online and start crap like this about other companies, then people should stay away from them. Because obviously they have problems to even be on this website. There are a couple of other Ripoff Reports also. if I were going to get a satellite dish installed it definitely wouldn't be by this company.

Barry Garnes is the best owner of a company that I've ever worked for. I'm saying this because he actually cares about his employees. He gave me a loan a few days ago which will be taken out of my check over 16 weeks. He did this because my wife left me and I had no money to pay my bills until I got paid . He didn't have to do this but he chose to because he cares about us. When I started working for this company I was told I would be workin local and hardly ever go out of state. Everything that they told me is true. I have drove over an hour to begin my route once to cover for another employee that had a doctors appointment. Big deal! I do not mind to help a fellow employee out when needed. That is expected and I hope that one day if I need help because something came up I will recieve help. This is a team based organization. We all work together. If anybody thinks this is a bad place to work try working 70 hrs a week  days a week for up dish communications for the same pay as working here for half the time. I was constantly in grundy honaker norton clinchco and other areas 2-3 hrs from where I live. There were some nights I didn't get home til 2am and had to work the next day. The owner of the company told us that if we didn't sell 4 tv screen cleaners a week it could "cost us our jobs." also we had to drive to the warehouse for equipment daily and they may have the equipment to do your jobs for the day and they may not so you might have to drive over an hour to get you equipment to work for the day. We have never had that problem at sbg because Barry takes care of us . Believe what you want but this job has been a blessing to me having known what I know about up dish and how bad it is over there this place is awesome.

No, Barry and Sherry Garnes did not pay Micah Terry more than they owed. They NEVER paid the last week of paid owed and Thanksgiving weekend of 2009, they changed the pay withholding from two weeks to three weeks. They only paid EVERYONE at SBG Digital for 1 week that week. When final pay was given, they paid for 2 weeks, not including the extra week held, and the final week of pay, that they received paperwork on and never paid. Doesn't matter, was never once worth working for them. Knew from the beggining that I would be ripped off, was told by too many people, but thought that I would give them a try and see if what I heard was true. Found out it was ALL true!

Michah was going to be termed the day he quit SBG Digital for poor quality. He was origionally owed $1200 that was paid in its entirity, however due to his poor quality of workmanship I had to pay other people to bring his sloppy jobs up to specifications. This should have been charged back to him and removed from his last check. SBG Digital is founded on intregrity and has never swayed from this aspect. If you are a satellite company looking for technicians you are making a grave mistake hiring Micah Terry.
