On sept 16th my wife and I entered the Sears store for the purpose of purchasing a new freezer for our business (nightclub) and to have it delivered to our club on Tuesday the 18th before noon. The salesmen, James assured us that it would be. On the 18th, nothing was delivered so we called the store and spoke with Mollyea.

She told me that the delivery was scheduled for 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. I told her that was unacceptable as we had a party that evening as we had specifically told James. Hence the before noon delivery. I told Mollyea " Just forget it, I'm cancelling the transaction and getting one elsewhere". She then told me I would have to pay a restocking fee. At which time i told her there was "NO WAY" they were going to charge me a re-stock fee as they had not lived up to their agreement.

At that time she became very rude and hung up. We proceeded to the sears store, spoke with Mollyea, (she was a lot nicer in person) and purchased another freezer. Only this one was larger, as they didn't have the original in stock. She called and spoke to La Sanya in delivery to cancel the delivery that was on the truck. We paid for the new freezer and was informed that they couldn't credit the price of the old one. She said she had to issue a credit refund for the old freezer and then charge us full price for the new one. At this time I was too angry to argue???

We then called one of my business associates to have a truck at the Sears loading dock by 4PM so we could pick up the new freezer. We left the Sears store and on the way home received a phone call from our Manager saying that the other freezer had been delivered. This was around 3:30 PM. Needless to say we called Mollyea again and she assured us they would pick that one up after their last delivery that day.

Today is the 4th of October. They finally picked up the original freezer on Sunday the 30th of September that we had to store on our band stage and move it every time someone came to perform. Which then took up the space for one table that could seat someone.

I called the store today to ask again, "where is the credit refund'? And was told by James, (the original salesperson) who couldn't care less, as he already received his commision for the sale, that it would take from 7 to 10 days. This was a platinum credit card not a check. I stored their merchandise at a great inconvenience from Sept 18th till Sept 30th. Sears could basically care less.

Oh, and by the way, they are now owned by K-Mart. Another company that could care less about customer service.
