Sears sells substandard products and then lies about its guarantee. I have bought appliances from them and never learn. The salesmen claim they stand behind their products... but they do not.
I bought an appliance from them aand it did not work. They refused to take the return and refused to even accept an exchange. They lied to me and stole my money. Do not let them do this to you. Do not believe their guarantee even if it is in writing. They will not honor it.
I have learned my lesson.
