serenity moving beckens moving movers are brokers, rip off consumers like us, then shut down and form a new company San Diego, Ft lauderdale, California

They came back and loaded the rest of the move a week later, charged another $5,000 more so we are up to $10,000, didnt give us the federal required forms or disclosures, and the bill of lading was from Low Priced Movers ( which i understand used to work out of the same warehouse and is a different company) . We go to florida and wait for our goods. On one day notice we are informed our goods are arriving even though they were to be stored in CA until we asked for them, another lie. They are missing 9 boxes too. then two months later, after many calls , we finally are told Serenity is going out of business and shipped our remaining goods. However, the driver got arrested en route and a company called Empire Moving out of  florida picked up the goods in alabama. (empire lost its DOT license this july) SO THIS PICK UP IS ILLEGAL ACROSS STATE LINES. ALL ouR boxes are opened, goods broken, stolen, 31 boxes still missing. And now Serenity changed its name and moved to new location calling themselves, G and G moving. same people, same BS story. THESE ARE SCAM MOVERS! THEY NEED TO BE CRIMINALLY CHARGED. EMPIRE IS in the owners own words, a gypsy mover!. I HAVE PICTURES OF OUR BOXES THROWN INTO EMPIRE TRUCK, DAMAGED, RIPPED AND MISSING . OVER $40,000!! ...BECKENS ALSO WILL NOT RETURN CALLS AND PRETENDS THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS. WHERE IS THE DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION! PULL THEIR LICENSE. We filed complaint with DOT and were told there was little they could do about this and it happens all the time. we now have to sue and what are our chances of collecting from these gypsies? there are numerous reports on web and rip off report, something needs to be done.
