What appeared to be a reasonable $4.95 trial size of a facial moisturizer turned into a $89.95 charge on my MasterCard, one that was not disputable. I'm a fairly savy internet consumer, and do not remember being warned that if I did not cancel services within 14 days, I would be charged for a "subscription" in the amount of $89.95. I have an alert on my MCard to notify me of purchases, so I immediately contacted MCard when I saw this amount being charged, and disputed it. I contacted the vendor by phone and they had a very easy automatic "cancellation" process that one can do by keying in number from the phone keypad. Never even reached a representative. Of course, it was too late to obtain a refund. In the dispute process, MCard rec'd a very well documented 8-page rebuttal to my dispute, one that included the paragraph regarding the 14-day trial period, and information about my "agreement" with the terms. I'm not saying that I did not agree, but I maintain that I did not "knowingly" agree. I believe that this company possibly earns more via this scenario than in shipping product. Most likely the last time I will order a sample from a vendor that I'm not extremely familiar with (from past favorable experience). Wasn't surprised to see others blogging about this company! Beware!
