My husband and I retained the help of Tax Masters in July of 09.  We had not filed in 6 years and the irs filed substitute returns for 2005 and 2006, saying we owed the IRS $13000.  We talked to tax masters and he said that we could file an offer in compromise for a fee of $5000, paying just pennies on the dollar for what we owed to the irs.  We happily agreed and enrolled with them.  Then the problems just s****.>
