Team Lava Storm8 Gold-stealing schemes and traps! Internet

I play two of Team Lava's games, Dragon Story and Mnster Story. Over the last couple of months I had been enjoying playing Dragon Story (DS) a lot.

However, recently I have been encountering several gold-traps. And what is gold? There are two in-game currencies: one of them is silver coins, the other , much more valuable, is gold. One can obtain gold at a very short pace each day, by neighbors who gift gold, or we can buy it.

I HEAVILY ADVISE AGAINST BUYING GOLD OR GEMS FOR TL GAMES !!

And why is that? That is because, even though gold makes the game much more enjoyable, you may also be WASTING AWAY your real money.

Team Lava persistently refuses to instal a failsafe system by creating a confirm button.

Which means that the gold that you have been accumulating for a LONG time, or the gold that you've just spent real money with, can instanly vanish if you but tap the wrong part of the screen.

So in short: gold is very, very useful to progress aling the game. Even though it is a free game, the gold (which can be bough) makes the game so much more efficient. Otherwise, we have to wait days on end for a dragon to finish breedingm for an expansion to clear, to accumulate maps to expand, to buy food to feed our dragons...

But how you spend that gold is not entirely up to you. No sir, because Team Lava has a lot of gold traps, literally. And no confirm button for spending it. For example, I was flipping through the game's Market (where you can buy several stuff including dragons) and the button to "flip a page" is small and located very near to the dragons on the list. So, to my misfortune, i tapped the "flip page" button just a tiny little bit to the right, and WHAM, 50 gold coins spent on a useless dragon that I already have had dozens of!

I did not want that. It was so sudden and inexpected I hardly had any time to realize that I had tapped thw wrong place. Looked at my gold - I had minus 50 gold pieces. Not cool.

I did not buy my gold, but i spent weeks accumulating it and it would have been very useful for me to have it for other things that i am WILLING to spend my gold on, which is speeding up dragons breeding or hatching time.

Imagine if it had been actual money? Well it does happen. And gold is very, very expensive. Gold traps are everywhere: - In the market place, when looking at dragons (very useful to look for their elements and breeding combos but a danger since you can end up buying the dragon by tapping a huge area, hard to miss) - when tapping on food to see how long it will take to be ready for harvest - when tapping on an expansion to see how long it will take, it is very easy to mistakenly tap the "finish now" button and spend hundreds of gold

Among other gold traps. None of them have a confirm button!! So if you cat jumps on your lap and tapa your iDevicem bye gold. If you sneeze in the wrong moment and tap on the wrong spot, bye gold. If your iDevice slips from your hand in the wrong moment, and your reflexes are fast enough to grab it, your finger will most likely tap on the "hard-to-miss-gold-wasting-button".

All we need is one, ONE wrong tap of the finger - very easy to occur on tactile devices - and then it's gone! Vanished!

What to do then? Panic, surely, stress and angst at our device. Curse it, curse everything, punch the table. And then, "Ah, I should e-mail Team Lava and they will give me my gold back. Anyone can see this was a big mistake!"

And then you will get a generic response like this:

"unfortunately, we aren't able to reverse player exchanges of Points, Gems, CCash or Diamonds for various in-game items or benefits. I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns."

So I got this response from my complaint ticket, of when I spent 50 gold when I accidentally tapped over a life dragon on the market and - by misfortune - my nest was just empty so the egg automatically went to it. Not cool.

This means their no-refunds policy, allied with their easy-to-tap-and-spend buttons, and lack of confirm button, result in a lot of gold spent unwillingly!!

People have been asking for a confirm button for a very, very long time now. They refuse because they know exactly what they are doing: stealing people's money. In a very unfair way.

I am certain that this scheme of theirs is an actual way to rip-off players, illegally. They know it. In fact, I was banned from their forum for a few days for daring to try and start an actual reaction to spam their mail inboxes with requests for a confirm button. They replied they had banned me because the post was disruptful of the forum... Can you believe that??

There is an urgent need to stop them from continuing to steal gold from payers... This is despicable, dirty, unfair and plain old dishonest! This is illegal, and purposeful, they know exactly what they are doing and yet they continue to do it. Somebody must do something about it. Stop them from stealing.
