Amazon.com feedback ratings, likened to eBay, can be and are inflated (in response to a rebuttal by one supposed former employee http://www.ripoffreport.com/book-stores/textbooksrus/textbooksrus-com-textbooks-r-me7p6.htm).

Look at the positive ratings/feedback compared to negative. I ordered a textbook on Tuesday, January 12, and it is now Monday, January 18. The item STILL has not been shipped according to an Amazon.com service rep on the phone I spoke to and it was supposed to be shipped between the 13 and 14th.

I also mention this because there is no way that a company that takes that long to ship out items can have SEVERAL feedback ratings each day. And they just happen to be positive and are a few words, having very little detail, being a few words.

Meanwhile, the few negative ratings instead of standing out, are diluted. I mean, do you really think people receive items on a Sunday? At least if you are going to be fraudulent, be smart about it.

I overlooked it because of the price but textbooksrus, like other sellers have said, charged my credit card ($34.99) for an item that was only supposed to be $19.24.  I contacted them on Saturday, with the following email through Amazon.com (and they said to contact them through email when I called their number just shortly, so we can see that is another little habit): 

"Hi, I am inquiring about whether this item has been shipped yet. There has been no notice and it's important that I get it sooner than later. When should I realistically expect this order to be delivered by and if it is not a reasonable date for me, may I still cancel this order then (Note: I do not wish to do so yet)?"

Do not use this company.  You will regret it.  I could have overlooked the wide estimate range and shipping my item a day later, but no response, no indication of whther it's been shipped yet or not (with expedited shipping) but overcharging my credit card is not acceptable and I will not let this company or anyone else rip me off ever again.  Learned my lesson.  Do business with a reputable businessperson and do a little research first.
