I was online searching for a job on (Careerbuilder, Monster, etc.) at the end of 2009, I sent my resume for a job, not knowing it was going to The Assurance Group.  A couple of months later I got a call from Thomas Balady, in January of 2010 and I was told they had several positions, but I couldn't be sent on any of them until I came in and updated my information, being that I had registered with them in the past some time in 2002.   Once going in and updating my information, maybe a week or so later I got a call from a young lady telling me to go on an assignment the next day, she gave me the information, I thought everything was fine, finally I have a job.  Then five minutes later she calls back telling me the assignment was canceled and they'll call me back once it's available again.  It never happened.  I called back a couple of times after that to see if they had any positions available, they claimed they didn't and that was it, I never called them again.  I was also told by one of the recruiters that another recruiter, who happens to be Hispanic, only accepts applications from Hispanics and if you're another race, she'll tell you that the agency isn't accepting applications, this is if you're a walk in.  They used to be located at 1373 Broad Street, Suite 300A, Clifton, New Jersey, 07013, which isn't too far from their old location.

For all anyone knows this agency exists to sell your information to third companies.  Don't register with them.

Confused

There is no Assurance Group office in New Jersey. Also, i'm a bit confused by your allegations as it is since i've never know TAG to discriminate against a single soul.
