The Assurance Group Doug Bunting Stole my Clients and ALL of my Commissions by terminating me before I closed them without any grounds to terminate me (a single mother and sole provider for my family)- after talking me out of quitting my other job to work for him! Denver Colorado

DO NOT WORK FOR DOUG BUNTING AT THE ASSURANCE GROUP IN DENVER

Doug Bunting told me in the original interview with him that i would make 40k the first year with his agency and be up to 200k in a few years. I did not make more than $500 with him in 4 months!

I am a single mother and the sole provider of my two children, and he convinced me to quit my job, promising to train and develop me as an insurance agent- this NEVER happened. He does not train or develop any one of his agents! He did not even help me complete my paperwork and training to be able to sell all of the products the Assurance Group can sell- even though I asked him over and over again!

Doug chuckles around the office making jokes with bright red eyes like he is drunk all day and clearly has no compassion for his customers or his staff! Doug laughs that he and his wife used to talk people out of paying thier mortgages to join Amway! And he is proud of being a sleezy salesman. Doug is fully aware that only 3 of the 10 people in his office are making between 13k and 20k a year. He does not do anything to help them. He demands that everyone come into the office to call the same people we have been calling over and over on Monday and Thursday- wich he can not do- we are all 1099 employees and free to work our own way. Doug does not give his people new leads. Doug demands that 15 appointments a week be made off of old, shared leads. No one is making any money or can support thier family, and Doug blames that on us! We all believed his lies, came to work for him, are left high and dry, and then insulted by being told we are lazy.

Oddly enough, there is one girl, a cute blonde, that supposably stays at Doug's house sometimes that is the top earner! Doug also travels to stay in Wyoming to sell insurance up there. Funny that he has an office full of people he refuses to help in Denver, but drives to Wyoming and stays for a few days to help develop and train this girl and she is number 1, huh? Doug is a selfish, lying, ruthless man and no one should work for him or buy insurance from him!

Here is the best part that has hurt my family individually- I worked for months to develop great appointments where we would be writting annuities and selling United Health Care. (Sales sometimes take several Appointments and weeks to earn the business). I had sales the week that Doug decided to terminate me without notice. Doug refused to let me write the business before terminating me. Appointments with those clients for high dollar sales were scheduled the same week with the man who works under him- cutting me out completly! 

Ethical? I think not. I called Doug's boss Kurt Klien, but he has yet to return my phone call. I would not recommend the Assurance Group to anyone as a place to work or to any potential customer because the management does not care about anything but money!
