In April of this year (2007) it appeared as if I was going to lose my job. In 2005 we bought a timeshare from Fairfield Resorts. We still owed over $10,000 on it. We though we would try and sell it. We found several prospective sellers through the internet. After a lot of consideration and talking to representatives we decided to use Timeshares Quick Sale.

The asking price for publishing our timeshare for sale on the internet was $599.00. For that we were assured that we would get top billing on all the hot search engines and they would publish the ad for a full year. They assured us that our property would probably sell within 90 days because it was a 'hot' ownership site (Atlantic City, NJ).

We paid the money via credit card and they showed us our ad, which looked professional. We were impressed. The fellow that we contacted and who took our money was named Jim Armstrong and gave a phone number of 1-800-529-8313. He said call him any time and that they would call us the minute there was an offer on our property. That was in May (2007).

In December (2007) when we hadn't heard anything since that time we decided to call 'Jimbo' back just to check in and see how things were. Guess what? Numbers disconnected, e-mail address no longer valid and the website is no longer on line. Basically, we're screwed and out money is gone, AND we still have the timeshare.

We thought we were being smart and careful in our choice. We're pretty sure though that when it comes to these guys there is no such thing as being smart and careful. BEWARE.
