I had a laptop from Toshiba which its hard drive crashed 3 days after the warranty was up. The logic board died. This was due to a problem they were aware of and a bios update was posted for the battery of the computer which was causing this malfunction.

The bios fix was posted days after my complaint. Toshiba would NOT make this right. If it were usual wear and tear, or even a hard disk that I could replace, I would have fixed it. However, this was due to Toshiba's faulty work and should have been repaired by them. You cannot replace the logic board of a laptop...you now have a 1300.00 paper weight.

Service department hung up on me twice when I voiced disapproval. No, I was not yelling or cursing. I will NEVER buy another Toshiba product and urge you not to as well!
