My husband bought their Flex Plan 2 years ago. We were told about all the good coverage that the policy had like the rest of you hard working people were told. The first time we used it my husband went into the hospital and they did pay the 80/20. We thought well now, this is different an insurance company that actually pays! Wow, we couldn't believe it...
My husband went back into the hospital for his heart problem, same as the previous one only a year later, we got the bill and were shocked! The bills were over $20,000.
The hospital sent in the claim for the 3 day stay and they received $4000. toward the bill. They didn't pay for the doctors, the stay in the hospital as well as some procedures that my husband had.And we called to see what the problem was, same story as everyone else.
I WANT MY DAY IN COURT! My husband has no insurance and we have been turned over to collection because we can't afford to pay the hospital.
Where are the lawyers!!!!

I also have UA, and when we had problems with a claim once we call the local branch and got help from the branch manager! You might try this.

You describe the policy as being an 80/20. It is not. That would be like a major medical. But you obviously did not read what you purchased. Or you did read it and just want to defame a company and insurance that helps out people who can't afford a major medical
type of health insurance policy.
