On 6/6/01, I sent the required information to Urbanq to receive my rebates totaling $319.97. On 9/3/01, the rebates were in processing. I emailed Urbanq on 9/22/01 to ask how much longer and was told that they are currently processing thousands of checks and undergoing major site upgrades and to remain patient. I contacted them again on 9/27/01 to ask for a more specific tiem frame and receive the following reply We ask that you please remain patient
and be assured that we will be sending the check to you as quickly as possible.As always urbanQ strives to give you the best customer service possible and the attention you deserve. I contacted them again on 10/18/01, 10/22/01, 10/23/01, 11/20/01, 12/10/01, and 1/4/01 with the same responses. I have still not received the promised rebates and keep getting the run around. I have numerous emails from three different people in their customer service department; however, no one has done anything to resolve this matter. It is now 1/7/02 and still no rebates like promised.

NY State Attorney General's Office is no help either

I contacted the NY State Attorney General's Office on 1/7/02, received a confirmation email saying they would look into it. I also received a letter saying the same. On 10/02, still not having heard anything, I sent another email to them. Again, they sent me a letter saying that they would contact me when there were developments to report, that was on 7/31/02. As of today, 1/13/03, I have not heard from either the Attorney General nor Urbanq. I am still out my $$319.97, but I will not give up until I get my money back. I am looking into contacting an attorney. Anyone else out there done the same?
