Video Blocks are scamming internet users into via a 'Free Trial Offer' where the registration for the trial requires detail inclusive of 'credit card' detail... When I saw this, I declined the 'Free Trial' period offer, this resulted in a personalised E Mail saying 'we noticed that you haven't taken up our offer... could you please share with us why'...

I replied saying I saw no reason to provide credit card detail for a 'Free Trial' and was then assured 'we need this for registration, No billing will be done WITHOUT Your agreement, like a fool, I registered, However, I have never used their services... Not Even During the Free TrialoPeriod... I never opened an account with them ! and supsequently even 'Forgot' about this site.... I have NEVER received any invoices, nor information of debits / payments... No correspondence of any type. CONFIRM NOW... or ELSE a transaction going thru my account...

I (foolishly) don't examine my bank statement on a regular basis, I recently enacted a transaction alert service for my card and became aware of a 'month-end' transaction I couldn't relate to when I saw R630.00 (South Africa Rand) deducted for an obscure name I didn't relate to... Further enquiries showed transactions going back as far as I could reasonably look back (3 months)... Probably pre-dates even this ! I then looked up Videoblocks and found, to my great surprise fraud/scam/ripoff-business-practices links... These ALL described my experience !

I have sent E Mails to Video Blocks demanding immediate cessation of billing, and a credit for ALL past amounts they have debited me for, I still await response.

When you sign up for the service you have to check a box that says "i agree to the terms and conditions" which I bet you did not read. So here, let me quote it for you:

"Free Subscription Trial:
You will be asked for valid credit card information when you sign up for the free trial. Videoblocks.com will use the credit card information for future subscription fees should you fail to terminate the trial subscription within the timeframe provided by Videoblocks.com. We will start your 7-day free trial upon completion of your trial signup. You may cancel your trial subscription without charge at any time within 7 days of placing your order. If you do not cancel your free trial subscription within 7 days of the date you start your trial, your subscription will continue automatically and the monthly fee will be billed to the credit card or other billing source provided by you when you signed up for the trial, on the first day of each successive subscription term. Such billing will occur without further notice to you "

You agreed to be billed for this service when you signed up for it. You would not have been able to sign up without checking the I agree radio button.
