They offer a free week of video downloads, and only ask for your credit card for test reasons, and without any other notice they then charge you $79 per month until you notice the charges on your card statement, and then claim that you should have read all the information initially given.  I downloaded nothing from them after the first week, and found 2 charges for $79 on my statement, which I am actively taking up with my card provider.

Free Trials...

AUTHOR: Striderq - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 01, 2013

All free trials work the same way. You have a certain amount of time to try the product/service. If you do not cancel within the time required you are agreeing (by accepting the free trial) to the monthly charges. Not a ripoff, just not reading the information.

I went to videoblocks.com and clicked on the Terms & Conditions link. Paragraph 9 includes the following (emphasis by the website) " If you do not cancel your free trial subscription within 7 days of  the date you start your trial, your subscription will continue automatically  and the monthly fee will be billed to the credit card or other billing source  provided by you when you signed up for the trial, on the first day of each  successive subscription term. Such billing will occur without further notice to  you." So by giving your information, to include credit card and by NOT canceling within 7 days, you gave permission for the company to charge you.

No, I don't work for the company. I just know to read the agreement I'm signing to see what I'm agreeing to.
