Videostripe Free Trial Debit Never Credited, Customer Support Claims it was Internet

I signed up a free trial on videostripe.  I immediately canceled because the videos were very low quality movies I have never heard of.  My account was debited $1 for the free trial as a 'verification' method.  However my account was never credited the amount.

I contacted videostripe a week after, and they said due to technical difficulty it did not credit, however I should see the refund posted in a few days. 

I contacted two weeks later, and they also said the same thing.

I contacted today, 25 days later, and customer support said they did credit the amount.  However I have confirmed with my bank that this amount was never credited.

I believe this company is a rip-off, they delay and try to confuse customers in hopes of giving up on $1.  But I am not after the $1, I am after the company that uses deceptive practices.
