VRBO Homeaway Let owner take cancel 3 weeks before our trip,when I wouldn't pay his $600 more dollars he was demanding! After 6 mnths of being reserved, I think thats called BLACKMAIL!! Nationwide

We made our reservation mid January and 3 weeks before our trip the owner contacted us and said he wanted $600 or he would cancel. I was told by Robert(in resolution) that they are a MARKETING company and not a MANAGEMENT company, there fore the Owners can to do what they want. Robert told me they were doing NOTHING and it was just "TOO BAD". UNBELIEVEABLE!!! By accepting my offer and taking a deposit, doesn't that make a contract? Use a different site.The guy who tried BLACKMAILING us is ZEV BECKERMAN. He's a REMAX agent somewhere in LA that rent homes on the BAJA,Mexico
