Wachovia Dealer Services Customer service ied to me and thier own company. Charlotte North Carolina

Just before Christmas 2007, My wife woke with a really bad toothache and it was a really bad problem. So much so she spent 5 1/2 hours in a dental chair recieving dental surgery. The cost of this 5 1/2 hour surgery was $5200. our insurance paid only $2000.

At this time we are in the process of purchasing 3 new cars. One of them is finances through Wachovia. I called the other 2 places and told them the situaltion and they were very nice and allowed me to skip a payment. I called wachovia and I can't believe the tounge lashing I recieved from the customer service person.

At first the customer service person was polite and listened to my situation. Then, out of nowhere, They started calling me all kinds of names mostly cussing at the same time and called me a liar. Said I was only doing it for extra cristmas money. ( I made these calls from the dentist office ) I offered to let the customer service person talk to the dental receptionist and the customer service person hung up on me.

I called back, knowing that I would get another person and maybe be treated with some respect. I did get to another person but the previous customer service person had written some lies on the file. Saying I cussed them and propositioned her. She also stated that I told her it was for Cristmas. I tried to talk to a manager but he believed what was written on the report and would not talk to anyone at the dentist office to confirm what I was saying.

It has all worked out for the best and I have since refinanced with another company.

I write this so anyone who is thinking about having Wachovia do anything such as financing can expect this as the norm for customer service.
