Wayland Academy The school is unfair in distribution of financial aid! Beaver Dam , Wisconsin

I was a former student who is no longer attending because of the financial aid situation. The school has been unwise in handing out financial aid money, and now half of the freshmen class from last year is paying for it because they had their tuition raised and it was unaffordable for most of them. I have a lot of friends who aren't back this year and they are all upset that the school did this to them. 

I saw that there have been other reports posted already and I decided it was my time to speak up. I want to warn prospective students that the school only cares about your money and if you sign up, don't hold your breath for a great experience. The financial aid is UNFAIR in their decision process, some teachers could care less whether you pass or fail, and are as fly by night as everything else there. The school has had god knows how many teachers quit or fired in the past 2 years. I remember touring and both of the teachers I met,, the math and latin teacher, were no longer there when i went their the next year. I asked some of the sophomores and they told me they were fired because they wouldn't show up for class or would have breakdowns while teaching and stuff. The president got booted out too because he had an affair and they had to have the assistant dean take over for the whole year until they could find a new guy. Drugs, sex, and alcohol are big problems there too and I knew a couple of kids who got kicked out for that stuff. There was this one girl who got caught having sex after prom so they kicked her out. We all know that it happens there ALL THE TIME. I think it would only be fair that they kick out half the school, because half of the school is guilty of sex in one way or another. 

So for those of you who are considering the school, keep an eye on your kids once they're there, because if they catch your kid doing drugs or having sex, if you're not paying full tuition, they'll kick them out and still make you finish paying, but if you are paying the full forty thousand, just donate a few thousand more and they'll look the other way, because it's happened before, and they let those kids stay.
